A Esmorga Literary Tour
Ourense is a strongly literary city and many are the authors who turned it into their literary space. Among them, Eduardo Blanco Amor stands out, who made the city take life in several of his works, being especially remembered A Esmorga. This innovative novel, a chronicle of strong human tensions marked by pessimism, recounts the bender of its three characters in post-war Ourense. It was adapted to film twice, last time in 2014 by Ignacio Vilar.
The ceramic plates placed by the Clube Alexandre Bóveda in different parts of the city (at the time of the novel, the suburban Ourense) reproduce fragments of this work, allowing to reconstruct step by step this tragic episode of the lives of Cibran, Bocas and Milhomes.
